Wall Cladding Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain :- Wall Cladding for Architectural Buildings
Wall Cladding, sometimes called wall siding, is a kind of decorative wall covering designed to make a wall appear to be made of some other kind of material than what it is really made out of. Wall Cladding can often lend a building an entirely new look and a new direction. One common application of Wall Cladding is interior wall coverings such as Roman, gypsum, acrylic tiles, slate, etc. The Roman wall cling is especially popular in use as kitchen and bathroom wall coverings.
Three basic categories:
Wall Cladding systems generally fall into one of three basic categories: Mechanical, Thermal or Appended. Mechanical Wall Cladding uses the usual materials for wall cladding - gypsum, aluminum, acrylic, linoleum - but combines them with additives to increase their adhesive strength, resistance to water absorption, and fire retardancy. Appended wall claping uses additives to improve water absorption, reduction of rot and insect growth. Thermal Wall Cladding, on the other hand, relies on the thermal insulation properties of materials like marble, tile, etc. These materials are also combined with additives to increase their adhesive strength, resistance to water absorption, and fire retardancy.
In architectural use, Wall Cladding is usually applied to single walls where one material is desired to serve as the main material on that wall. In the case of interior Wall Cladding, one wall cladding layer usually covers the entire wall. But, if the application is one continuous sheet over the complete wall, then a first layer is usually laid and cured. After the cured layer, two more layers are laid and cured.
The thickness of these layers depends on various factors like -
As a general rule, the thicker wall cladding layer is located at the bottom and the lighter layer is on top. The thickness of these layers depends on various factors like - the area of application, insulation requirements, type of application (e.g., Interior or Exterior) and the degree of mechanical strength required. For example, in cases where only some spaces are filled in with insulation, thinner Wall Cladding makes the application easier.
Wall Cladding for construction purposes is mostly found in buildings such as office buildings, retail stores, motels, hotels, warehouses, and many more places. The reason for using wall cladding in these places is to provide an attractive and durable decorative covering. Since these are usually constructed out of polyvinyl chlorides or vinyl products, the surfaces do not get damaged easily, especially in areas with harsh weather conditions.
Different options available
The most common materials used in the construction of wall cladding are aluminum, plywood, gypsum, cellulose fiber board, sheet metal, drywall, sheet steel, drywall paper, etc. There are different options available in wall cladding depending upon its use and design. The thickness of the Wall Cladding layer is generally selected based on the appearance of the building and its purpose.
